From the main screen, tap "New Game" and choose your preferred difficulty level. You can pick from Easy, Medium, Hard, Expert, or Extreme. A new puzzle will be generated instantly.

Final Sudoku offers five difficulty levels: Easy, Medium, Hard, Expert, and Extreme. Each level is defined by the solving techniques required, not just the number of given digits. Easy puzzles use only naked singles, while Extreme puzzles require advanced techniques. This means difficulty is consistent and meaningful.

Tap "Enter Puzzle" from the main screen. You will see an empty 9x9 grid where you can enter the given digits from a newspaper, book, or any other source. The app will automatically validate that your puzzle has a unique solution before you start solving it.

Tap the hint button while solving a puzzle. The hint system will analyze the current board and find the next logical step you can take. It highlights the relevant cells and explains the technique being used, such as naked singles or hidden singles. This way, you learn real solving strategies instead of just being given the answer.

Go to Settings from the main screen. Under "Appearance," you can choose between Light, Dark, and OLED themes. The OLED theme uses a true black background, perfect for OLED and AMOLED displays. Your preference is saved automatically.

Yes. Once installed, Final Sudoku works completely offline. All puzzles are generated on your device, and all game data is stored locally. You do not need an internet connection to play.

Toggle the notes mode by tapping the pencil icon in the controls bar. When notes mode is active, tapping a number will add or remove it as a small candidate in the selected cell. You can also long press the notes button or use the auto-fill candidates feature to populate all possible candidates at once, giving you a head start on more complex puzzles.

Yes. You can print your puzzle at any stage, from the very beginning or even partially filled in. Take your Sudoku offline on paper whenever you want.

Use the "Check Numbers" feature to compare your answers against the solution at any stage of the game. You can also choose to automatically remove any wrong numbers.
